Equivalent BlueRise Beam:

- BlueRise beam will perform equally as an equivalent to the LVL’s listed for the selected application.
- LVL beam type is to be selected by others, BlueRise Solutions are not designing the beam for the application. BlueRise Solutions are only providing an equivalent beam to the one specified by others (limited to those listed for the application).
- Uplift and hold down calculations and fixings by others.
Specific conditions of use:
- Beam designed for tile and sheet roofs to N3 wind rating.
- Maximum roof load width 6.6m.
- Maximum single span of 5.4m.
- Not to be used for continuous span applications.
- BlueRise beam to be incorporated into timber frame as per the installation details shown. All remaining details and fixings, not specified, are to meet the requirements of AS 1684 residential timber framed construction and AS 4055 wind loads for housing.
- Roof trusses or jack studs must be fixed to BlueRise beam and not rely on plate fixing to beam.
General conditions of use:
- Unsuitable for building situations with H3 hazard classification and above.
- BlueRise beams cannot be exposed to weather, moist environment or soil.
- Can be stored external above ground (H3) for up to 6 months.

- Normal building practices shall otherwise apply.
- Unsuitable for use within 300 meters of breaking surf.
- At locations up to 2km from exposed marine environment, prevent salt laden air from contacting the steel member.
- Cannot be used in contact with copper, led, brass, stainless steel, carbon black and neoprene.
- Product is non-combustible but has F/R/L of 0/0/0.
- Unsuitable for use in contact with unseasoned timber.
- Unsuitable for use in contact with treated timber in humid environment.
